Casting Father Into The Purple Box

Last night, I met a father prospect at http://www.jongojava.com/ in Hendersonville. He was a very likeable fellow and I immediately decided that he would be cast in The Purple Box - http://bluevolcanoproductions.blogspot.com/p/purple-box.html. I hope to film this last scene within 2-3 weeks if everyones schedule permits. It will be a cinder block off each shoulder to have this behind me - it's been looming in the indefinite future now for weeks.

I haven't engaged with the editing process for several days now, except for plugging in a song over the end credits - a very appropriate pop-like song to make the journey of the end credits an enjoyable one for the viewers. I will post links to all the musicians that have songs in The Purple Box once I have signatures on the release forms. That will hopefully be soon - at least sooner than later.

On a more personal note, we have 2 couples who are interested in purchasing our coffee house - one couple from Florida, another from Tennessee. One couple has stated that they will make us an offer within 30-45 days. We shall see. Another local coffee shop was on the market for over 2 years before it finally sold so I'm somewhat surprised that in this horrific economy that we've gotten so much interest in so little time.

Today I should be editing - but I'm not. This just seems like a good day to goof off so that's pretty much my agenda. I'll probably do a little research online on subjects that I'm a little dense about - it never hurts to add fuel to the intelligence tank.

That's pretty much it. I need to 'officially' cancel interest in other father-prospects with an email or two - I'll do that first thing. It's coming together.

Out.
